The RW Institute announces the release of the 3rd edition of the Corporate Volunteering, Giving and Grants Technology Review

Since the release of the 2nd edition of the Corporate Volunteering, Giving and Grants Technology Review in November 2021 the world emerged out of the depths of the COVID-19 pandemic. Corporate citizenship and philanthropy largely shifted focus away from matters strictly related to the pandemic itself. Public health causes remain relevant, sustainability continues gaining primacy, disaster relief efforts have realigned corporate agendas, and trends like skills-based volunteerism and enhancing the employee experience through corporate citizenship programs have taken on greater relevance amidst hybrid work. The 3rd edition of the Corporate Volunteering, Giving and Grants Technology Review explores the effects of these socio-economic and political factors on corporate citizenship.  Sign up below to receive your free copy of the 2023 edition as soon as it’s available.

The 2023 edition of the Corporate Volunteering, Giving and Grants Technology Review features 41 solution providers headquartered in Australia, Canada, Europe, South Africa, and United States. While the majority of companies use solutions provided by Benevity, Blackbaud, or Bonterra, overall technology is becoming more robust with a larger number of vendors offering a broader range of features and capabilities than in previous years.

Additionally, the report includes a detailed perspective of practitioners from organizations across North and South America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. In total, practitioner respondents came from 105 unique organizations.

Who produces the Review?

The Corporate Volunteering, Giving and Grants Technology Review, is produced by the RW Institute in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and GivingTuesday. The review is the only one of its kind in the industry, offering CSR practitioners with a comprehensive overview of platforms from around the world that support employee giving, volunteering, and grant programs, as well as unique insight into technology procurement, implementation, and adoption.

We were in the process of selecting a new technology partner for our workplace giving and volunteering program. The report published by the RW Institute helped to validate our conclusions that we had found the right partner that would allow us to take our program to the next level. It also served as a proof point when delivering our recommendation to senior management. I’ve since shared the link to the report with at least two companies that were in the process of upgrading their workplace giving and volunteering program.
